Wehrmacht infantry soldiers from Kienel๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ

Kienel(Thuringia, Germany) used to produce quite distinctive 1/24 compositie soldiers in 30s. Many collectors are struggling to identify Kienel's soldiers because they have no any maker stamps.Luigi Toiati provides describes Kienel soldiers in his book "The History of Toy Soldiers" (2019): "Kienel ‘attained a fairly high quality’ ....and although his figures are unmarked, they are recognizable by the ‘healthy, farm boy appearance of their soldiers’".

Gaetano Giulio Zumbo (1656–1701) was an Italian sculptor in wax or wax (ceroplastica) modeller of the Baroque era. His primary talents were not those generally considered as artistic but devoted to the creation of scientific models that were highly regarded as curiosity pieces in his time.
