Ivanhoe Faces His Foes 🏰⚔️

This dramatic scene features vintage Starlux medieval toy soldiers, with the noble Ivanhoe (center) raising his sword against two adversaries. These beautifully detailed French-made figures—produced in the mid-20th century—capture the spirit of classic chivalric tales. The photo was taken against the weathered stone backdrop of Monkstown Castle Gate, Co. Dublin (Ireland), adding a touch of authentic medieval atmosphere to the miniature clash. The silver knight appears to be Brian de Bois-Guilbert, Ivanhoe’s Templar rival, while the green-clad warriors could represent Norman mercenaries or Saxon outlaws. A playful tribute to romantic medieval battles and the enduring charm of vintage Starlux miniatures.
